Another Craft Show

I will be displaying at the West Collingswood Fire Company Craft Show tomorrow, Saturday, December 12, 2015, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., 152 Nicholson Road, just off of Route 168 in Mt. Ephraim, NJ. They will be selling refreshments and -- SANTA will be there around 12 noon.

Here are a few recent pics of my booth.

I love this snowman ornament...

And the antique bottle ornaments.

These are bottle brush trees in vintage containers -- silver/pewter sugar and creamers. Some of these are sold, but I will have lots more.

Come out and finish up your Christmas shopping, have lunch and tell Santa what's on your list this year!

Ladies Night Out at Decotique

This Friday (December 11, 2015) will be the 2nd Annual Holiday Ladies Night Out at Decotique, 13 Centre Street, Merchantville, NJ, 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Kate Butler a/k/a/ Decotique is having 20-25% off most of her inventory in the shop. There is free street parking during the holiday season. There will also be a couple of handcrafted vendors (Me Me Me!!) We will also have refreshments for you while you do your shopping.

Here is a picture of my table at a recent craft show. I added beautiful pillows made from vintage linens. Since they are new I am glad they have been a big hit.

Here is a better photo of the pillows. Some of these are sold, but I do have more.

Here is another pillow picture with more designs, again, not all are available.

Here are more new holiday items, bottle brush trees in vintage sugar and creamers, decorated vintage bottles and a snowman on a vintage jello mold. It was fun playing with the vintage bits and pieces of lace and blingy jewelry to put these together.

Here is a better picture of Mr. Snowman. I used vintage book paper (in German) for the hat and an old Jello mold for the bottom.

These are some of the other Christmas ornaments I made. There are some hand-painted snowmen and gingerbread men in the back, bottle brush trees on vintage bottles and snowmen heads.

Along with my jewelry, I will have all of these Christmas items at the 2nd Annual Ladies Night this Friday!

Hope to see you there!

Where I Will Be on Friday the 13th?

Hello, yes it has been awhile, but I am here today, with some news.

I want to let you know about a craft show where I will be a vendor. It is hosted by the Ballard Spahr law firm in center city Philadelphia. It is on Friday, November 13, 2015. It takes place at the Atrium in the Mellon Center, 1735 Market Street, Philadelphia, from 11:00 am to about 2:00 pm. The Atrium is the level between the building lobby and the concourse (on your way down to the concourse). Spend your lunch hour doing some Christmas shopping! There will be a room full of crafters with lots of ideas for Holiday gifts.

Here are some of the items I will have displayed.

Some colorful necklaces, a few are already taken!

These necklaces were all made out of vintage clip earrings and beads from vintage necklaces. Love vintage clip earrings - so many things to make out of them!

Like some new bracelets! These and the ones below were made with broken watches. I took the watches apart and attached the earrings to make bracelets.

I like how the bracelets will stay put and not swing around your wrist.

These look like vintage printer blocks but.... (hint--if they were the letters would be backward). I do like the inspirational words. My word would be "Altered". I alter and upcycle everything, especially things for jewelry.

These are cuff/bracelets made from escutcheons from bureau handles. I love fancy drawer handles.

I will also have some Christmas ornaments and decor that I don't have pictures of yet. I will also have a selection of jewelry on sale for 25% off regular price. And... if you spend $25.00 or more you will get a free ornament from the bowl!

Hope to see you there!

What are some of your favorite vintage treasures? Leave a comment and let me know!

It Makes Me Giddy

I was out a few weeks ago with a friend to stock up on my jewelry supplies. I got a whole bunch of vintage costume jewelry to turn into new designs. Here are some pictures of the pieces waiting to be transformed.

It just makes me giddy, I love looking at them and playing with them (does that make me weird), it gives me inspiration for new designs.

I love the sparkle of the rhinestones and the shine of the pearls.

Next time I'll show you some of the new designs I made from my stash.

See you then!
